Amanda Enterprise Windows Client (ZWC) 3.1.4 is the latest release of Windows Client for Amanda Enterprise 3.1.x servers.
ZWC 3.1.4 works with Amanda Enterprise Server 3.1.5.
Installation
Note: Amanda Enterprise backup or restoration should not be in progress.
- Download Zmanda Windows Client 3.1.4 from the Zmanda Network to the Windows machine.
- Extract the zip archive.
- Run setup.exe
- The installer detect the existing installation of Windows client (if present) and prompt the user to upgrade to the new version.
- After installation, please perform Check Hosts from the ZMC Backup What page on the management Console.

- Fixes issues with Windows backup data encryption
- Better handling of large number of files in the backup run
- Reduced disk space requirements for SQL server differential backups
