Error occurs when labeling brand-new or recently or degaussed:
-bash-3.00$ amlabel DailySet1 BEACHTEST002 slot 1 insert tape into slot 1 and press return labeling tape in slot 1 (/dev/nst0): rewinding, reading label, reading label: Input/output error rewinding, writing label BEACHTEST002, checking label, done.
Cause:
On most systems, a brand-new or recently degaussed tape will yield I/O error the first time you try to read it.
The "I/O error" is not really an error, just a status result from the operating system. This error can be igonored.
