Amanda Enterprise patch 3.1.2.1 is a patch release that provides bug fixes for ZMC issues reported by Amanda Enterprise customers. The patch release contains fixes only to the Amanda server.
It is important to read Amanda 3.1.2 release notes and Amanda 3.1 documentation because this release is a patch to Amanda Enterprise 3.1.2
Patch installation procedure
Note: Zmanda Management Console should not be in use during this process. Amanda backup or restoration should not be in progress.
- Install Amanda Enterprise 3.1.2 on the server if it is not already installed.
- If ZRM and/or AEE is installed on the server, Stop ZRM and AEE services before installing the patch.
- The patch is a shell script that should be run on the Amanda server as amandabackup user.
- Restart ZRM and AEE services if they were stopped.
- Flush browser cache on all systems used to access Amanda ZMC and ZRM ZMC.
