Once the backup set has been configured and/or activated and the backup has been initiated, the user is redirected to the monitor page. The user can see the progress of the backup here. The user can also abort the backup (or restore) if required. The monitor page lets the user track the progress of backup/vault/restore run(s).

If no backup, vault, or restore run has been triggered, the Monitor page table will be empty as shown below: -

The table on the page has several columns: Date and Time, Backup Set, Runtype, Status, Completed and Actions.

Date and Time: It shows the date of the run in mm/dd/yyyy format and its time in 13-hour format.

Backup Set: It specifies the name of the backup-set whose backup/vault/restore was triggered.

Runtype:   It denotes whether the run was backup/vault/restore, as can be seen in the images below: -

Status: The status can be Success, Failed or In-Progress indicating whether a backup/vault/restore run was successful or it failed or if it is in progress, as can be seen in the image below: -

Completed:  It denotes the status by means of icons as shown in the image above.

Actions: It displays two icons, namely Abort and View Report. The Abort option is used for stopping a backup/restore while it is in progress, if the user clicks on this icon, the backup/restore will be aborted. If the backup has already happened then it shows the DLE summary as can be seen in the image below. The View Report option redirects the user to the reports page where the user can see the detailed report of the vault/backup/restore run.

DLE Summary: Once we click on any row on monitor page, It displays the DLE summary of all the DLE’s included while running the backup for any backup set. Displays Hostname, Path and Backup level of respective DLE’s under that backup set.

Search bar: This option is used to filter backup sets by name, as can be seen in the image below: -
