Netbackup/MySQL patch 1.2.3 is a patch to Netbackup/MySQL agent 1.2. This patch must be installed on all MySQL server backed up using Netbackup.
Installation procedure
Note: Netbackup backup or restore should not be in progress when the patch is being installed.
- The patch must be installed as super user.
- Copy the downloaded patch tar ball as super user to the MySQL server.
- Extract the tar ball in a temporary directory as superuser.
# tar xzf patch-NBU-mysql-1.2.3.tar.gz
- Change directory to patch-NBU-mysql-1.2.3 sub-directory.
- Change permissions for the installation script.
# chmod 700 patch.pl
- Run the script as superuser.
# ./patch.pl

- Support for MySQL server 5.6.x
- Support for MySQL Enterprise Backup 3.10.x and Xtrabackup 2.2 and higher.
