Vault Where

Users can configure where to vault the backup image to.  All devices that have been configured in Admin Devices page except where the backup images are displayed as a table as shown below.

Users cannot vault the same ZMC device where backup images are. If you have to back up to the same device such as a same disk or to cloud with same credentials, you will have to create a new device for the disk or the cloud. 

Usually, users' vault backup images from disk, to lower cost disk or cloud or tapes for an additional copy of backup images, so that they can be stored away from the data center or longer term.

Backup images in multiple media volumes can be vaulted to one or more media volume. The backup images are split or assembled depending on the size of the backup images.
