Verify

Introduction

• Verify Tab consolidates all verification tasks that can be performed in Zmanda Management Console.

• The tasks that are available on different tabs are as under:

Installation

• Verify Installation tab is used to verify Amanda installation.

End to End test

• Verify end to end test performs backup/restore test to a local disk.

Server

• Verify Server and Client checks the feasibility of running Backup Set configuration that users have created.
• Before running Server, Client Data verification, please ensure that correct backup set has been selected.
• Users can choose the correct Backup set from the drop down box as shown below.

Clients

• See discussion above.

Data

• Verify Data allows users to verify the backed up data of any backup run.
